PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM:

Providing pre-hospital emergency services with the first and emergency aid program, and then the main treatment of the sick and injured.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

1) Knows the anatomical structure and physiological functions of the human body.
2) Students knows and applies the mechanical, technical equipment and ambulance driving techniques of the emergency vehicle.
3) Students knows the situation and development of emergency health services in Turkey and in the world.
4) Students knows the duties, authorities and responsibilities in the emergency health system.
5) Students knows the precautions to be taken regarding crime scene safety, patient evaluation and crime scene safety in emergency situations.
6) Students knows basic and advanced life support applications.
7) Stuednts have knowledge about the organization and management of pre-hospital emergency care.
8) Students knows and applies patient transport techniques and methods in pre-hospital emergency care.
9) Knows medical terminology.
10) Evaluates and applies the knowledge gained from the textbooks containing information in the field of First and Emergency Aid, application tools and basic level theoretical and applied courses supported by other resources in her professional life.
11) Students have knowledge about the use of drugs related to emergency care.
12) Students have knowledge about medical interventions related to emergency care.

17) Applies methods to protect physical and mental health.
18) Students have the ability to perform basic and advanced life support applications.
19) Have the ability to use suitable materials and position the patient or injured during patient transport.
20) Students knows infection control methods, takes personal protective measures.

33) Implements Emergency Care in CBRN Situations.
34) In emergency situations, it reaches the scene quickly, evaluates the scene and the patient, makes the first intervention and ensures the transport of the patient to the appropriate hospital.
35) Student knows and applies simple rescue/removal techniques in traffic accidents.
36) Applies emergency care in disasters.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND RULES PRESENTED IN THE PROGRAM:

All of the work that a student must do in order to successfully complete a course (theoretical course, practice, seminar, individual study,
exams, assignments, etc.) are expressed in the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
▪ ECTS is a student-centered credit system based on the student's workload. The student is obliged to take at least 30 ECTS courses each semester.
▪ When the student graduates, the success status is determined by the ACADEMIC AVERAGE.
▪ Success in a course; It is determined by evaluating the midterm exam grade and the average of the final or make-up exam. student's graduate
In order to be eligible, he/she must have passed all the courses in the curriculum with a minimum of 120 ECTS credits, and his/her GPA must be 100.

EXAMS, MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION:

Exams are evaluated out of 100 full marks. Year-end success grade; 40% of the year-end grade point average and 60% of the end-of-year exam grade
