PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM:

The aim of the program is to follow the national and international developments and new technologies related to the profession, which is based on a strong international trade theoretical infrastructure and supported by close connections with the business world, has advanced knowledge and skills, can work in teams with staff from other disciplines, constantly develops itself with the philosophy of continuous education. Our aim is to raise individuals who can use them in the best way, are prone to teamwork, are researchers and can manage the current situation by reading the future.

DEGREE AWARDED:

The students who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree of Lisans of .

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

Students who want to enroll in the department must complete the processes determined by OSYM within the framework of the academic and legal regulations of the university / have passed the exams. A student who has started his education in an equivalent program in the country or abroad can apply for horizontal transfer. Admissions of students are examined and evaluated individually before the beginning of the semester, taking into account the conditions of each student and the degree to which they apply. More detailed information on university admission is available in the Institutional Catalogue. Within the scope of student exchange programs approved by the university and the boundaries of which are determined by an agreement, students coming from abroad can take the courses given in the department.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

There is no special end-of-term exam or final exam period that must be taken at the end of the academic year or following the completion of the program in order for the student to receive the Degree / complete the program. However, at the end of each semester, there are two-week end-of-term exams, usually immediately after the end of the semester. In addition, the student is required to do vocational education and professional practice studies in the 8th semester.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING:

Recognition of previous formal learning in Higher Education Institutions in Turkey, vertical, horizontal and university transfers Regarding the Principles of Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfers in Higher Education Institutions determined by the Higher Education Council It is carried out within the scope of the regulation. Students coming from formal education institutions in Turkey can request exemption on a course basis and are exempted from courses accepted by the board of directors.

1) 1. Comprehends the theoretical background of international trade and operational information such as import, export, foreign exchange, customs and logistics.
2) 2. Defines business culture and marketing interaction in globalizing capital, labor and goods trade.
3) 3. Follows the global and national basic regulations related to international trade.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND RULES PRESENTED IN THE PROGRAM:

All of the studies (theoretical lectures, practices, seminars, self-study, exams, assignments, etc.) that a student must do in order to successfully complete a course are expressed in the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
ECTS is a student-centered credit system based on the student's workload. The student is obliged to take at least 30 ECTS courses each semester.
When the student graduates, the success status is determined by the ACADEMIC GRADE AVERAGE.
Success in a course; It is determined by evaluating the midterm exam grade and the average of the final or make-up exam. In order for the student to graduate, he/she must have succeeded in all the courses with a minimum of 120 ECTS credits in the curriculum, and his/her GPA must be at least 60 out of 100.

EXAMS, MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION:

Exams are evaluated out of 100 full marks. Year-end success grade; It is the grade obtained as a result of the sum of 40% of the yearly grade point average and 60% of the end-of-year exam grade.
For general information about the examination regulation and assessment and evaluation processes, it is within the scope of “Istanbul Kent University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations”.
