PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM:

To prepare students who have the necessary knowledge to become medium-level or high-level managers to public and private sectors, local governments, administrative judiciary bodies, domestic and foreign policy areas, media sector, non-governmental organizations, banking and international finance institutions, and are equipped with multitasking, decision making and analysis ability, and possess ethical values.

The students who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree of Lisans of .

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

Student admission to this program is made by ÖSYM according to central exams. Foreign students are accepted to this program with their internationally accepted high school graduation diploma and internationally valid exam results. The admission of exchange students is carried out within the framework of the relevant legislation of YÖK.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

İlgili programdan mezun olacak öğrenci aşağıdaki şartları yerine getirmek durumundadır:
Students must be successful in all of the courses in the curriculum within the relevant period and their GPA must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING:

Change of department, lateral transfer, admission of foreign students and exemption from previous courses are made within the framework of the relevant legislation.

PROGRAM QUALIFICATION:

1) He/She has theoretical knowledge in the fields of politics, management, political history, economy and law. They can compare and express them in writing. Follows national and international developments in the field of Political Science and Public Administration, knows the main problems.
Beceriler (Describe as Cognitive and/or Practical Skills.)
2) Follows national and international developments in the field of Political Science and Public Administration, knows the main problems. Can use qualitative and quantitative Social Science research methods.
Yetkinlikler (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
3) Gains the sensitivity of being a responsible individual towards the society, social environment and himself/herself.
4) He/She works individually on the subjects in the field of Political Science and Public Administration.
5) Uses research techniques, analytical thinking ability and knowledge related to the field.
6) Can look at concepts, theories and global issues objectively and critically.
7) Develops strategies and policies in case-oriented studies.
8) Has the ability to make interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary interpretation and analysis, and can establish relationships between different social sciences.
9) Expresses analysis results and research findings in various formats, primarily articles, reports and presentations.
10) He/She is ready to adapt comfortably to professional, academic and civil society.
11) Have sufficient awareness of the universality of social rights, social justice, quality culture and protection of cultural values, environmental protection, occupational health and safety.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND RULES PRESENTED IN THE PROGRAM:

All of the work (theoretical lecture, practice, seminar, individual study, exams, homework, etc.) that a student must do in order to successfully complete a course is expressed in the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
ECTS is a student-centered credit system based on the student's workload. The student is obliged to take at least 30 ECTS courses each semester.
When the student graduates, the success status is determined by the ACADEMIC GRADE AVERAGE.
Success in a course is determined by evaluating the mean of the midterm exam grade and the final or make-up exam. In order for the student to graduate, he/she must have succeeded in all the courses with a minimum of 120 ECTS credits in the curriculum, and his/her GPA must be at least 60 out of 100.

EXAMS, MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION:

Exams are evaluated out of 100 full marks. Year-end success grade is the grade obtained as a result of the sum of 40% of the yearly grade point average and 60% of the end-of-year exam grade.
