Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to introduce the concepts and methods related to risk assessment and management, to introduce risk assessment and analysis tools such as risk assessment matrix, fault trees, event trees, simulation, statistical models and impact diagrams, how risk analysis and risk assessment can be applied to real life problems. to teach how to apply it and to discuss the issues related to the application.
Course Objective: The primary goal is to teach the evaluation of various issues using risk analysis methods.

Program Outcomes
1) 1-Students have extensive and in-depth knowledge to make advanced applications on Occupational Health and Safety. 2-Students are aware of new and developing applications of his profession and examines and names them with a critical approach when necessary. 3-Comprehend the interdisciplinary interaction with which Occupational Health and Safety issues are related, and can interpret the acquired knowledge by integrating it with the knowledge from different disciplines, and create new knowledge. 4-Complete and apply knowledge with scientific methods using limited or incomplete data. 5-Develops methods to solve Occupational Health and Safety problems and applies these innovative methods.
2) 1-Conducts research independently to solve Occupational Health and Safety problems, uses information and communication technologies to solve complex situations encountered in this process. 2-Leads multi-disciplinary teams in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. 3-Names the strategic, political, social and environmental dimensions of Occupational Health and Safety practices.
3) 1-Aware of the new and emerging applications of his profession and examines and names them with a critical approach when necessary. 2-Collection, processing, use, interpretation of data, observes social, scientific and ethical values in the implementation and announcement stages and in all professional activities. 3-Transfers the processes and results of the studies in a written, verbal and visual format in national and international environments in the field or outside the field.
