Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To know the roles, duties and responsibilities of home care nursing, to discuss the practices of nursing interventions, to learn professional practices related to home care patients.
Course Objective: To determine the needs of the patient and his family receiving home care and to be able to provide nursing care.

  1) Explain the concept of home care. 2) Knows the duties, roles and responsibilities of home care nurses. 3) Know the historical development process of home care nursing.

  1) Can manage special conditions (stoma, pressure sores) in home care patients. 2) Evaluate the living space for a safe environment in home care. 3) Apply chronic disease-specific approaches in home care. 4) Can provide counseling for the patient and his family in home care. 5) Can meet the needs of patients and their families in home care by using evidence-based nursing practices. 6) Knows and manages special nutritional practices in home care.
