Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To enable students to comprehend effective management and leadership practices within organizational structures; to assume managerial responsibility in strategic decision-making processes; to analyze leadership behaviors at the individual, group, and organizational levels; and to develop leadership models based on cultural and ethical principles in line with contemporary management approaches.
This objective aligns with the following domain-specific qualifications:
- Knowledge: Theoretical understanding of management and leadership approaches
- Skills: Analytical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Competencies: Taking responsibility, acting independently, ethical and cultural sensitivity, contribution to lifelong learning
Course Objective: This course aims to equip students with an understanding of contemporary management and leadership theories; to develop the ability to analyze managerial roles and leadership styles within organizational processes; and to apply decision-making, communication, and motivation strategies at the individual, group, and organizational levels. It further aims to enhance students’ leadership potential by considering cultural differences, ethical values, and the dynamics of the evolving business world.

Skills (Practical Component) - Illustrates the outcomes of different management styles through real-world examples. - Applies problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict management techniques in case analyses. - Evaluates group dynamics and motivation strategies in managerial environments.
