Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to teach students the fundamental concepts, assessment, and treatment methods in women's health and gynecological physiotherapy, and to familiarize them with physiotherapy approaches to women's health conditions.
Course Objective: Understand female anatomy and physiology.
Learn gynecological physiotherapy assessment techniques.
Understand physiotherapy applications during pregnancy and postpartum.
Recognize and treat pelvic floor dysfunctions.
Follow and interpret current research in the field of women's health.
Mode of Delivery: Face to face

  2) Explain the physiological changes in the female reproductive system and pelvic structure.

  1) Apply pelvic examination and assessment techniques.
  2) Direct physiotherapy exercises during pregnancy and postpartum.
  3) Design appropriate exercises for the assessment and strengthening of pelvic floor muscles.

  1) Communicate with patients ethically and ensure patient satisfaction.
