Introduction to Mythology offers a comprehensive exploration of mythological traditions across the world, examining their origins, structures, and meanings. The course investigates how myths function as cultural narratives that shape collective identity, moral order, and artistic imagination. Through the study of Greek, Roman, Norse, Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Asian, and Turkish mythologies, students will gain insight into recurring archetypes, symbolic patterns, and their lasting impact on literature and culture. |
