Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: The aim of the "Media and Communication Technologies" course is to equip students with knowledge and skills in the field of media and communication, enabling them to communicate effectively in today’s rapidly changing media landscape. This course focuses on helping students understand media tools and technologies, evaluate information from a critical perspective, and creatively use these tools. It aims to instill media literacy, enhance critical thinking skills, and teach the impacts of media and communication technologies on societal dynamics. Additionally, the course encourages students to analyze the social effects of media content and to grasp ethical and legal responsibilities. Ultimately, the course seeks to increase students' media literacy, helping them become informed and responsible media consumers and producers.
Course Objective: One of the main objectives of the course is to provide students with information about the advantages and potential disadvantages of media and the evolving communication technologies within this context. It aims to enhance their critical thinking skills by fostering a critical perspective and to instill a sense of media literacy awareness.
