Course Objectives: | To define the immune system; to know how the immune system cells differentiate and their functions. |
Course Objective: | To explain the developmental stages and functions of immune system cells. To recognize the types of immunity and immune responses. To show MHC molecules, their relationship with antigen presenting cells and lymphocytes. To explain the concepts of inflammation, immunization, autoimmunity, transplantation immunology. To recognize the clinical reflections of immune deficiencies. To define the treatment strategies for immune deficiencies. |
