Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives:	From a sociological perspective, health, disease, illness, etc. To interpret concepts such as, to understand how the approach to health and disease varies depending on time, societies and culture, and the effects of changes in social structure on health and disease.
Course Objective:	To understand health and disease phenomena from a sociological perspective
