Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To enable the students of Istanbul Kent University Faculty of Health Sciences, Midwifery Department to gain strength by applying the knowledge and skills they gained during their undergraduate education, to develop their decision-making and problem-solving skills, and to gain professional experience before graduation.
Course Objective: To be able to use effective communication skills in professional practice.

  1) To be able to use the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired by the student in previous years in planning, applying and evaluating midwifery care with a holistic perspective in order to meet the health care needs of the individual, family and society in the preventive, therapeutic and rehabilitative fields.

  1) Taking responsibility in line with ethical principles in realizing midwifery initiatives and evaluating their results, Being able to work in solidarity with other members of the team by taking part in the health care team
