Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: The student learns about the distribution and spread of diseases in society and the factors affecting them, evaluates the concept of disease with epidemiological criteria, has knowledge about infectious diseases, understands the responsibilities of nurses in infectious diseases, and possesses knowledge and skills about combating infectious diseases.
Course Objective: To provide students with information about basic concepts of epidemiology and epidemiological research, and to provide them with knowledge and skills about infectious diseases and the responsibilities of the nurse.
