| Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to gain the necessary knowledge and skills related to internal medicine nursing, to synthesize information, and to use problem-solving skills effectively in situations that require nursing care. This course relates theoretical knowledge and practice by gaining knowledge, skills and attitudes towards nursing care within the scope of internal medicine. The course covers topics related to the development of adult health, prevention, elimination, treatment, care and rehabilitation of acute and chronic health problems within the scope of adult health. |
| Course Objective: | 1) Knows the basic concepts of internal diseases and makes connections between decisions, defines risk factors and groups 2) Knows the etiology, signs and symptoms of internal sciences diseases, defines patient needs fully and accurately in acute and chronic conditions. 3) Collects data and applies nursing care in a holistic way according to the ethical and professional rules required for the care of the patient. 4) Can perform rehabilitation practices with a holistic approach 5) Fulfills the role of educator by ensuring the participation of the patient and family 6) They can transfer and evaluate what they have learned into practice. |
