| Course Objectives: | The purpose of the nursing principles course is to help the student understand the basic philosophy of nursing and the role of the nurse in the health system and his/her own role as a student nurse, to provide the student with scientific, holistic and ethical approach to nursing care and to gain knowledge about nursing roles to develop, protect and improve individual, family and community health. | Course Objective: | 1. Knows the basic concepts of nursing and professionalization in nursing. 2. Knows the Nursing Model Based on Life Activities and understands its relationship with the nursing process. 3. Knows and applies nursing skills within the scope of Personal Cleaning and Dressing, Body Temperature Control, Respiration, Nutrition, Excretion, Sleep and Rest, Expressing Sexuality, Death Activities, Oral and Parenteral Drug Administration and uses them in their professional practices. |
