Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To learn the science of pathology and its function in medicine, to learn and understand the cellular and molecular changes underlying diseases.
Course Objective: To understand the causes, mechanisms, morphological changes and clinical reflections of inflammation, immunity, cell tissue damage, hemodynamic changes and neoplasia, which form the basis of diseases. Learning the role of pathology in diagnosis

  1) Knows the working principles of the pathology laboratory and diagnostic methods.
  2) Knows the definition and mechanisms of inflammmation and its role in development of disease.
  3) Explains the factors that cause cell damage and the response that occurs as a result of damage.
  4) Understands the working mechanism of the immune system and has general information about immune system disorders.
  5) Understands hemodynamic disorders and their effects on the body
  6) Understand neoplasia and explain its etiopathogenesis
  7) Knows the damaging factors in the environment we live in, knows the damage they cause, and explains the methods of protection.
  8) Can comment on the occurrence of diseases based on basic pathology knowledge.

  1) Recognizes morphological changes that occur as a result of cell and tissue damage
