Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: Students will have knowledge about non-pharmacologic applications at the scene to save life in life-threatening situations or to prevent the situation from worsening.
Course Objective: To be able to make the correct first aid intervention to the patient / injured, to prevent his / her condition from getting worse and to understand that he / she should not jeopardize his / her own life while intervening.

  1) To be able to have theoretical and practical knowledge about first aid applications.
Skills (Describe as Cognitive and/or Practical Skills.)
  1) To be able to identify situations that require the administration of first aid.
  2) The subject is able to evaluate basic life functions correctly.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) In the event of an accident or a life-threatening situation, the individual in question is able to assume responsibility as a first assistant.
  2) Communicate with 112 team in cases requiring first aid intervention.
  3) He/she is knowledgeable about ensuring his/her own and environmental safety in case of accidents or life-threatening situations.
