Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: Reflexology is a course designed for people who specialize in the field of massage to receive supportive and complementary massage training. This course, which contains information such as the basic anatomy of the foot, the ability to detect reflex points, also introduces the meridians in the human body in detail. Thanks to the lesson, you will have an adequate equipment. The aim of the reflexology course is to train qualified specialists in this field.
Course Objective: Reflexology is to release the energy accumulated in a certain area of the body with various massage movements performed on the feet. Reflexology, a kind of therapy, allows a person to strengthen the circulatory system along with relaxation, a comfortable sleep and a body free of toxins. The person who has undergone reflexology feels relieved spiritually and physically, increases blood flow.
Thanks to this massage applied to the feet, the self-healing property of the body is activated. The reflexologist aims to start healing by spreading this energy throughout the body.

  1) Students taking reflexology courses understand that the entire nervous system of the body tends to adapt to external factors, including touch.
Skills (Describe as Cognitive and/or Practical Skills.)
  1) The touch of a reflexologist can help calm the central nervous system, promote relaxation and other benefits, just like any form of massage. Sometimes the brain reacts to physical pain. It is observed that reflexology can reduce pain with calming touches, which in turn can help improve mood and reduce stress.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) It can explain how reflexology works with the theory of the region (Meridian). This theory accepts that the body contains 10 vertical zones. Each region contains different body parts and understands their corresponding to certain fingers and toes. Practitioners of territory theory perceive that touching these fingers and toes gives access to every part of the body in a certain area.
