Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To know the basic concepts related to the care of healthy/sick individuals, to comprehend the philosophy, roles and functions of nursing.
Course Objective: To know the concepts of Human, Environment, Health and Disease and to explain the relationship between these concepts and nursing. Knowing and adopting the philosophy of nursing. To know Nursing Theory and Theorists.
To know the roles and responsibilities of the nurse and the professionalization process. To know evidence-based nursing interventions. Knowing the concept of team and adopting teamwork. To know the methods of defining and coping with stress.
