Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives:	To comprehend the techniques of informing, influencing and motivating institutional, individual and social masses about technological developments by giving basic information about technology.
Course Objective:	To be able to interpret the changing relations between people, technology and society and to use the opportunities brought by technology in different fields.

1) To have knowledge about the concepts of communication, technology and society

2) Learning the effects of new information technologies on daily life

3) To be able to comprehend the relationship between communication, technology and society and to explain their relations with each other.

5) Ability to explain the connection of the change experienced with the new communication technologies and the society and to establish a connection between these concepts.

6) Ability to compare traditional communication technologies with new information technologies
