Course Objectives: | Discrimination; It defines the situation where an individual is exposed to unequal practices or behaviors compared to other individuals in the society due to some innate or acquired characteristics such as age, gender, race, disability and sexual orientation. This situation causes the individual to be in a disadvantageous position in terms of participation in education, employment and social life. It is aimed that social work graduates who will work with these disadvantaged individuals understand discrimination. |
Course Objective: | Understanding the causes of discrimination, carrying out social work intervention to prevent discrimination. |
