Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To teach the effects of electrical agents on physiological and psychological events occurring in the body; Our aim is to provide information about treatment modalities, teach which treatment options for which disease and how to use them, and ensure that the treatment program is drawn up practically on the patient.
Course Objective: "Must be able to explain the physiological mechanisms of electrotherapy agents
Must be able to distinguish the indications and contraindications of electrotherapy applications.
"Must be able to create a treatment plan in electrotherapy."x

  1) Explains the effects of electrophysical agents on body tissues.
  2) Classifies the types of current used in electrotherapy.

  1) Applies electrotherapy in a clinical setting.
  2) Operates electrotherapy devices in the physical therapy unit.

  1) Plans electrophysical agents in physiotherapy.

Program Outcomes
1) Curriculum, rehabilitation programs, physiotherapy and rehabilitation methods and techniques related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation Has measurement and evaluation knowledge.
2) Evaluates the physiotherapy and rehabilitation process of the patients and plans them according to the needs of the patients.
3) Evaluates the clinical development of individuals in multiple ways by using different measurement and evaluation methods.
