Course Objective: |
Amputation, causes and levels of amputation, partial hand and foot prostheses, prosthesis applications and component selection according to upper and lower extremity amputation levels, static and dynamic settings in prostheses, control mechanisms, gait problems seen in lower extremity amputees, early and temporary prosthesis applications, myoelectric prostheses , advanced technological prosthetic applications and amputee rehabilitation. |

1) Applies the prosthesis to the amputee patient.

2) Teaches the amputee patient to put on and take off the prosthesis.
|
3) Teaches the amputee patient to perform daily living activities in the presence of a prosthesis.

4) Creates and implements the necessary preoperative and postoperative exercise program for amputee and prosthesis rehabilitation.

1) Solve rehabilitation-related problems in the prosthetic rehabilitation team.
