Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To understand the principles of medical terminology used in health sciences. To use basic professional terminology that will facilitate understanding in professional studies.
Course Objective: Terminologically analyze the structure of a medical term. To learn the meanings and structures of terms frequently used in the explanations of different parts of basic medical sciences related to different organ systems and different branches of clinical medicine. Having a good command of terms specific to the profession.

Uses the basic grammatical features of words in medical terminology. 8. Uses basic definitions and terms related to human structure 9. Pronounces medical terms correctly. 10. Explains and gives examples of abbreviations of medical terms. 11. Uses frequently used terms related to diseases. 12. Can use medical terms correctly.
