Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To provide students with information about assessing the development of babies/children whose development is at risk/diagnosed and providing development-based support services.
Course Objective: To know the standard developmental assessment tools that are widely used, to evaluate the development of babies/children whose development is at risk/diagnosis and to carry out development-based support services.

  1) 1- Explain the definitions and concepts related to developmental assessment. 2- Explain the definition and importance of developmental diagnosis.

  1) 1- Evaluates the development of babies/children whose development is at risk/diagnosed. 2-Prepares home-based development support program.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) 1- Makes a developmental evaluation. 2- It enables families to be active participants in the development support programs of their children.
