Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: The student's recognition of female reproductive physiology; It is aimed to gain information about the factors affecting it, possible problems, necessary examination and treatment steps.
Course Objective: It is aimed to plan care that can support women who are planning to have a child and who have difficulties in this regard, in the steps of informing, directing and applying about diagnosis and treatments, based on evidence-based information.

  1) Has basic reproductive physiology knowledge.
  2) Recognize the tests used to evaluate reproductive functions.
  3) Explain the reasons that may prevent reproduction.
  4) Knows assisted reproductive treatment steps.

  1) Can plan and create the appropriate educational content about the health problems that the woman may encounter during the reproductive period.
  2) It can create the individualized care plan required for assisted reproductive treatments.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) Explain comparatively the evaluation and treatment methods of infertile men and women.
  2) He/she can give guidance about the precautions and treatments to be taken for fertility protection.
  3) Provide information on sexuality and reproductive health.
  4) It can provide training for women and men to create pregnancy naturally.
