Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: Students should know general adolescent health and diseases, characteristics and needs of adolescence and reinforce this knowledge with evidence-based practices.
Course Objective: Being able to group the adolescent period according to age,
To know the developmental stages of the adolescence period,
To know the adolescent protective services,
To know the subjects that should be given counseling to the adolescent,
Adolescent's knowing the screenings within the scope of periodic health examination.

  1) To be able to group the adolescent period according to age, to know the developmental stages of the adolescent period, To know the adolescent protective services, To know the subjects that should be given counseling to adolescents, To know the screenings within the scope of the adolescent's periodic health examination.

  1) Able to work independently and solve problems within the framework of his/her own professional duty, authority and responsibility regarding adolescent health
  2) The student will have information about general adolescent health and periods of adolescence.
  3) Once the student has access to the necessary knowledge and skills, he/she takes an active role in the multidisciplinary team and his/her communication skills develop.
  4) The student's domain-specific competence in all aspects of adolescent health develops
